Māori Electoral Option 2018

The Māori Electoral Option runs from 3 April to 2 August this year and is when Māori voters can choose to be on the Māori roll or the general roll.  It’s an important choice because it decides which roll you’ll be on for the next two elections.

The Electoral Commission will be at the AMNOHL netball tournament over Easter weekend and will be available to talk to you about enrolling to vote and answer any questions about the upcoming Option.

For more information go to www.maorioption.org.nz, or come and see the elections team at the netball.

Māori roll or general roll?  Now is your time to choose.
