CAR CLUB INC.
The Ashburton Car Club (Inc) organises & promotes events in the Ashburton (Mid Canterbury) district. The club runs events such as autocrosses, motorkhanas, sealed & shingle sprints and car trials. We are well known for our annual 'Street Sprints' in the local industrial area which attracts competitors from all around with a wide range of vehicles battling it out over a 2 day weekend of excitement. All of these events will be advertised on our website, Facebook page, local news papers & on the local radio stations. We are always looking for volunteers to help organise, setup, run & help with timing. If you are able to help with any of these roles please feel free to either contact a committee member or contact us via our email address. So far, we have run motorkhanas, car trials, auto crosses, shingle sprints, ¼ mile standing sprints and street sprints. If you want something else come and help and we can try to make it happen.
