12/13 year INTERPROVINCALS

ALL athletes that are 12 years and 13 years are eligible for the HBG 12/13 year interprovincals team to this national competition which is held at Easter each year.
They are part of a HBG team to compete at these champs and, if needed, will be selected to be compete. This is a teams competition but athletes are also eligible to compete for the individual prizes they also have at these championships.
This competition is run by Atheltics NZ and each athlete has to compete in four events over the two days competition.
Each athlete stays with the HBG team until the competition is over and it is a fantastic way to get our upcoming athletes competing at a provincal level, the next step up from local club level even when it is in there own area.

Each athlete competes in four events - three feild and one track, two field and two track or three trackand one field.
