Congratulations to Elise Talbot and Annabelle Scott, who have both made the New Zealand U21 Rowing squad!

They head to the U21 Pacific Regatta in Sydney in May/June - all the best girls.

2024 NZ Oceania Athetics Championships

We would like to congratulate Charlotte Blake (Y12) who was selected for the U18 Heptathlon team and Orla Motley (Old Girl) who was selected in the U18 Hammer Throw and Javelin teams. Congratulations also to Niamh Motley (Old Girl) who was selected for the Senior Women’s Steeplechase team.

Speedskating

Lauren Crawford continued her run of success at the World Skate Oceania Speed Skating Championships held in Timaru between 29th March - 2nd April. Competing in the Cadet Girls (Under 15) Grade, Lauren won two Golds, one in the 21km Marathon in a time of 42.52 minutes and the second in the 3000m Relay. She then went on to add a Silver in the 5000m Elimination and two Bronzes in the 1000m Sprint and 5000m Points Races to her overall medal tally.

There were a group of Craighead girls who competed at the equestrian Show Jumping National Champs held at the National Equestrian Centre, McLeans Island, Christchurch 21st to 24th Mar 2024. Riders gave it their all against strong competition and included Kayla Allington, Greta Dale, Evie Dale, Sophie Grenville-Jones, Annabel Hutton, Poppy Slater, Zoe Slater, Sophie Smith and Molly Smith. Congratulations to those who achieved success during the show.

Craighead Cross Country

The annual Craighead Cross Country will take place on the last day of term - Friday 12 April at West End Park.

All parents are welcome to join us for the event with details of the programme below.

We are on the hunt to borrow 16 smaller sized haybales for the event. If you are able to supply those please contact Andrew Jones at [email protected].
