A Junior ladder is to encourage players in the Junior Divisions to play against each other.

The following rules apply:

1. The ladder will be open from Registration Day until Closing Day of that particular tennis season.

2. Ranked and other interested players may lodge a challenge to ANY player on the ladder until competition starts and then only players within 2 places.

3. The challenged player must play within one week of being told the challenge is lodged. a pair of good standard balls is to be supplied by the challenger.

4. All INTERCLUB singles matches between Darfield players will automatically be regarded as a ladder challenge.

Division 1 & 2 players matches are the first to win 9 games with a tie-breaker at 8 - all.

Division 3 & 4 players matches are the first to 6 games with no tie break.

5. The winner of a challenge can be challenged straight away.
The loser of a challenge can be challenged straight away.
The winner of a challenge cannot be re-challenged by the loser for 2 weeks following the day of the challenge.

All challenges must be lodged with club's Junior Co-ordinator.

The Darfield Tennis Club committee has the authority to adjudicate or make a ruling on any instances arising from, or not covered by, these or other rules.
