Looking for something fun to do? Why not give the new disc golf course in Queens Park a try. The 18-basket course was officially launched on November 19, 2017, following collaboration between Sport Southland, Healthy Families Invercargill, the Invercargill City Council and Disc Golf South. It has been funded by the Invercargill Licensing Trust, Community Trust of Southland and Invercargill Active Communities Funding Scheme.
The course is a great way to enjoy the park with families and friends. Discs can be hired from the Herbert St Store with a $15 bond and $2 hire fee per disc (there is a two-hour time limit), but are also available for sale at various stores in Invercargill.
