This is a competition for high performance teams with an emphasis on team and player development and improvement, resulting in a high performance competition offering development for age group and senior players representing our Centre in National tournaments.

  • Four grades- Premier 1, Premier 2, Premier 3, Premier 4.
  • Open age group for female players Year 9 upwards.
  • Up to 12 players registered per team.  Premier 1, Premier 2, Premier 3- 60 minute games. Premier 4- 40 minute games
  • SNC graders will select teams into these grades based on grading day performance and results.
  • Premier 1 and Premier 2 will play on Saturdays, in the Lincoln Events Centre when available.
  • Players in teams in these grades must be selected on ability by a fair trial process, which allows all club members the opportunity for selection (i.e. selected by trial).
  •  Clubs have an obligation to provide coaching for teams in this competition.  These grades will each have 6 teams. 
  • Three rounds plus semis and finals.
  • Automatic promotion-relegation to occur between these grades and 1st Grade at the end of round 1 and 2, except at the end of round 2 a promotion-relegation game will be played between Premier 1 and Premier 2.
  • Promotion-relegation games will be played at the completion of round 2. These games are to be played on Sunday or on a weekday if players have representative team commitments at the discretion of the Competitions Convener.
  • Any team requiring relegation from Premier 4 that does not meet the age criteria for the High School/Senior competition will be relegated into the Masters grade.
  •  Teams in Premier 1 and Premier 2 must provide an umpire each week with a NZ, Zone or Centre Badge working towards Zone qualification. Each team must also provide a named bench official each week.
  •  Teams in Premier 3 and Premier 4 must provide an umpire each week with a Centre Badge qualification. Each team must also provide a scorer/timekeeper each week.
