For more than three decades, three clubs have paved the way for youth to develop their skills as Rugby League players in the Franklin region.  
Pukekohe Pythons, known for developing exciting young talent that has seen success as Junior Kiwis and Warriors players. 

Tuakau Broncos, committed to providing a welcoming, family orientated club for everyone to enjoy Rugby League. 

Waiuku Toa, a friendly community, enthusiastic about the rise of their much-loved Rugby League in their growing suburb.

While junior players have steadily increased for all three clubs, senior players diminished due to competition from other codes, inner city clubs and NRL signings. It has been over a year since a senior level team has been represented by any of the three clubs.  

A group, passionate about Rugby League came together all hours of the day to establish a family oriented, inspirational, senior division of the sport locally.

Franklin Storm are two senior teams, Premier and Premier 1st, with the support of Auckland Rugby League we have been granted the opportunity to compete in the 2018 Sharman Cup.
