Futsal is a fast, skillful, and highly competitive game. Cashmere High School has been very successful in both Girls and Boys Futsal at both a regional and national level. For the past five years, Cashmere has run an internal tournament in Gym 1 on Wednesday afternoons. This is Cashmere v.s. Cashmere as this was happening in external competitions anyway.
TERM 1 2024 Registrations close 11/02
Where: Cashmere High School G1
When: Start 14 February - 27th March (6 weeks of competition). Games between 3:45pm - 6:00pm
Cost: $10 per person paid online when registering.
A one off sports levy of $20 will also be applied to all students' school accounts to cover administration costs.
Who: Choose your own team/ join a pre-existing team if needed. Teams can be male, female or mixed (minimum of 5 people per team. There may be 1-2 students added to your team if you enter a smaller team). Teams can have juniors and seniors in them if you would like. You will be able to indicate on the registration form people you would like to be within a team. If you do not have a full team or anyone you would like to be with, there will be spaces available for you.
Players must wear non-marking soled shoes indoors. ALL players must wear shin pads and long socks. The School accepts no responsibility for injury if a student does not wear appropriate protective gear.

Saturday 9th March – Sunday 10th March (2 Day Tournament)
Saturday – Nga Puna Wai – 9.00am – 6.00pm
Sunday – ARA – 9.00am – 3.00pm approx.
