ARTHUR FONG (1965) Arthur joined the Club in 1945 and held a variety of Club Offices including a term as President between 1962-65. He was the club starter from 1960 to 1998, and was actively involved in coaching, with many successes to his credit. He was honoured with an MBE in 1975 for his services to sport and won the "West Coast Administrator of the Year" Award in 1970.

JOHN O'BRIEN (1974) John joined the Club in 1956 and was responsible for raising a remarkable proportion of the Club's funds. Always efficient and with an unassuming manner, John has held the office of Vice-President and Secretary, a position he retained for 13 years. He is still giving service to the Club through his judging until near his death in 2017.

ROY WILLIAMS (1974) Roy became a club member in 1956 on being invited to assist as an official by the late Wally Schultze. A keen and willing worker, he soon became involved in many aspects of club activities, being a conscientious Club Handicapper and Judge. He was President from 1969-1971 and was a key figure in fundraising towards the club pavilion.
John was awarded a BNZ Gold Badge for Unsung Heroes and $500 for the club.

MARGARET SWINBURN (nee LEE) (19770 Margaret made club history in 1977 on being elected as the first woman Life Member. She joined the club in 1959 as a capable all-round athlete and has served as minute secretary, club captain and committee member. Currently an active secretary, Margaret has provided valuable liaison between club and surrounding schools in their use of club grounds and equipment, and continues to be a willing and busy club worker.
