​​​​​​​Hora Hora Rugby Rugby Union Football Club Inc was formed in 1922 and is based at the Hora Hora Domain on Te Mai Road, Whangarei.

The club is one of the largest sports clubs in Whangarei and has a proud history of success in the area.

The rugby club has won a number of championship and the club also fields a very successful women's rugby team, a number of junior rugby, league and netball teams.

The club is known for its family atmosphere and social attitude and their aftermatch feeds are famous in Northland rugby.

The club has had a number of Northland, All Blacks and NZ Maori players over the years including Glenn Taylor, Norm Maxwell, Derren Witcombe, Norm Berryman, Doug Te Puni, Warren Johnson, Michael Speight, Nau Cherrington, Warren Dunn and more recently, Jaycob Matiu. As well as our female All Black Janet Heenan and more recently, Leilani Perese.
