ICE HOCKEY / hōkī hukapapa

The Secondary Schools' league is held term 2 & 3 with trainings on Wednesdays and games on weekends.  These are held at Alpine Ice Arena.

High School League

The coed non-checking High School League is for players of all abilities who are attending High School. This league has an emphasis on camaraderie, sportsmanship, and fun.  

Practices include all high school players. For league games, players will play for their regular high school team (or be assigned to a combined team if their high school has too few players to field a team). 

Regular Season: Terms 2-3 (May 1-Sep 25)

  Wednesdays 3.30-4.30pm:  Practice

  Saturdays 10.00a or 11.15am:  Refereed games

Early Registration Fee: $TBA

Regular Registration Fee: $50 more than Early

Membership Fee: $120 (good for one year starting April 1)

Annual memberships in CIHA and NZIHF are required for this league and this fee is separate from the registration fee.
