CLARIFICATION OF THE NEW RULES (Used since 2024/25 season)
Key rule changes and considerations from a module perspective would be:
• Changes to field markings e.g., the 5-meter line is now a 7-meter line (All fields will now be marked with 7 metre lines)
• Players are now expected to retire a fixed distance of seven metres to be onside (This was 5 metres)
• On an intercept by a defending player, the first touch will now be zero (0) touch (This used to be classed as (1) touch)
• Sin bin duration now defined as four (4) complete possessions (Hopefully this only happens at Adult Modules and its not often lol)
• As well as significant changes to the drop-off procedure (Drop offs are only played on your finals day if the score is tied)
