3. MG ASTRONOMY EVENING - Wed. 8th May
218 Bells Rd, West Melton. 7.00 - 9.30pm
Hosted by the Canty. Astonomical Society. A dark winter evening of looking through powerful telescopes and being informed about what you are seeing. SORRY - NO PLACES LEFT.
Allow 30 - 45 minutes from Christchurch.
Directions: S.Hwy 73 to West Melton. Turn right at BP station onto Weedons Ross Rd. Travel 2km. Caution - "STOP" sign on this road. Turn left into Bells Rd. Travel 2.17km to 218 Bells Rd.
Park on the street. Venue on the left.
Bring the correct money for Bob - adults $15 & children $10.
In the event of Bad Weather conditions, the event can be postponed to a later date. Watch for notification by club email - this could be at late notice.

Depart Dunsandel Café - 10.30am
Please arrive at café earlier for morning coffee.
Drive to Ashburton and visit the Aviation Museum. $10p.p. entry.
Lunch is booked at Formosa restaurant. It is a modern Asian cuisine, different from traditional Chinese cuisine. Our Club food experts, as well as members living in Ashburton, highly recommend this venue. Apart from a diverse delicious menu, they always have special hearty tasty meals at under $20.
