Try Croquet all welcome - Open days first Sunday of each month, from 2 pm.

Come and join us at the Mt Albert Croquet Club open days - try the modern version of this classic lawn game - ‘Golf Croquet’. Flat soled shoes are best. All equipment is provided. Our friendly club members will introduce you to the game, absolutely no obligation.


The Mt Albert club invites prospective players to join them and learn to play. It is a club that plays socially; for fun, fitness, relaxation and enjoyment of each others company and the game. The focus is skill building in a relaxed atmosphere that caters for all ages and abilities.

Members can play competitively and the club regularly enters small teams into various competitions/tournaments hosted by other clubs in the greater Auckland region.

Open Days: are held fairly regularly on the first Sunday of each month for members of the public who wish to come along and play a game or two with no obligation to join. Email first for confirmation if unsure (some Sundays are blocked out for competitions).

Currently we're on Summer Time: Play from 4pm Sundays to avoid the worst heat!

Club Days:
Our lawns are available to play on all year round.

Golf Croquet:

• Saturday: 9:30am - 12:30pm - Competitive play
• Sunday: Winter hours: 2pm - 5pm : Summer: 4pm - 7pm - social play
• Wednesday: 2pm - 4:30pm (winter)
• Wednesday: 4pm - 7:00pm (Daylight saving, summer)

Ricochet:

• Thursday: 10am - 12pm
