Great conditions today and good to see some more excellent performances from our members.  It is unusual to see sprinters, apart from Georgie Allison but today Angie Smith lined up along side Georgie over 100m recording 13.15 to Georgie's 13.44.  Later on Angie won the 400m in 56.38 with Georgie recording 27.28 for 200m.  Also running 400m was Laura Kate Bean in 66.61.

Isaac Peneha recorded 4.55.99 for his 1500m while Jaye Atkin was 2nd in the women's 1500m in a time 5.01.30 with a large group charging after her down the home straight but she held on narrowly.

Dave Collie and Kate Hewitt both ran 3000m in 10.23.52 and 11.38.39 respectively.  Not very large fields for the 3000m today as most chose to run the 1500m

Good luck to all those competing at the NZ Secondary Schools champs in Timaru next weekend.
