North End Rowing Club Inc.

Founded in 1892 the North End Rowing Club is one of the country’s oldest and one of the South Islands largest, catering for rowers of all ages.

The club house is situated on the Otago Harbour at the boat harbour reserve, Magnet Street, Dunedin. The Club also has a training facility on the Henley River South of Dunedin .

NERC was the first Otago Club to open its doors to school rowing in 1952. Club support for school rowing has involved a total of ten Dunedin schools over the years and continues to be the home of rowing for five of rowing participating schools in the region  (Kings High School, Queens High School and St Hilda's Collegiate).

The club has assisted many to achieve results at all levels of the sport and is proud of the 33 NZ Representatives it has produced.

The club has excellent facilities, a selection of coaching, training and first class racing equipment as well as a friendly and supportive environment to enable anyone to excel and enjoy the sport of rowing.
