North Hokianga Junior Sports Club was formed six years ago as there was nothing in place for the children of North Hokianga. This club caters for children covering seven communities in the North Hokianga being Mitimiti, Panguru, Pawarenga, Broadwood, Kohukohu, Rangi Pt plus Mangamuka and Herekino. Covering such a wide area our children are having to travel alot of miles to get to their games, some leaving at 6.30am to get to a game that starts at 9am and we rely on volunteers to either car pool or take a van to help transport our children.
