OKAIHAU RUGBY FOOTBALL & SPORTS CLUB

Okaihau Rugby has a proud tradition of rugged determination and strong communityspirit which dates back to the 1920’s and has produced many fine players, including three Maori All Blacks (the Toki brothers, Leon, Ness and James) and a number of players in Northland provincial rugby.

The feeder area for our club is large and includes; Mangamuka, Horeke, Okaihau, Waimate North and in the last few years children from Kaikohe have travelled to us as their clubs didn't have teams for them.

We have a senior rugby team, junior rugby teams and in recent years started a netball program under the Okaihau Rugby banner that has had 2 teams compete in the Kerikeri competition.
