About Us
The Otago Indoor Bowls Association was formed in 1954 and covers an area from Palmerston & Dunback in the North to Taieri in the south and Middlemarch to the west.

The northern clubs belong to the Eastern Districts Sub Association and the southern clubs to  the Taieri Sub Association.  Both Sub Associations have their own Executive Committees and run their own programme.

The Dunedin area clubs play the majority of their bowls in "the Stadium"  at 105 Victoria Rd, South Dunedin.  This is in the same building and above Dunedin Ice Sports and was purpose built for indoor bowls.  This area contains space for 18 mats together with a kitchen and bar

We have a proud competitive tradition with many NZ titleholders.  Over the last few years we have had NZ and SI representatives and recently placed second in the Welch trophy which is New Zealand's premier inter district event .
