Sea2Sea Challenge

For over a decade, the Sea2Sea Challenge has encouraged South Cantabrians to get out and exercise every day with the aim of developing a long term exercise 'habit', leading to healthier lives.  As a principal sponsor of this community event, The South Canterbury District Health Board would like to see that all workplaces, schools, medical practices, patients, early childhood centres and individuals are given the opportunity to particiapte. 

Participants are encouraged to be physically active for at least 30 minutes a day during the 40 day challenge as well as consume 5 servings of fruit or vege.


2016 WINNERS ANNOUNCED

Congratulations to all the participants in sea2sea challenge 2016.  South Canterbury saw 154 workplace groups and 2305 individual commit to being active for 30 minutes a day for six weeks !!!
