MANAGER’S MEETING - 9:45am at the Football Feilds


ELIGIBILITY
1.    Students competing must be enrolled full-time in the school they are representing.

2.    Students competing must be Year 6.  Only those schools that do not have a big enough roll to make up a whole team out of Year 6 Students may include year 5 students from their school.

3.    Students may compete in more than one code; however, timetable allowances will not be made for any competitors.  

4.    If a student enters more than one code they will only receive one free registration gift rather than one  for each code.


RULES & EVENT INFORMATION 

All rules will be as normal FIFA rules, with the exemption of the following:

  • There are no off sides.
  • There are to be NO slide tackles.

The goal-keeping zone (the D) is for the goalkeeper only, no other players will be allowed to enter this zone. If an attacking player enters the zone a free kick anywhere in the D will be awarded. If a defensive player enters the zone a free kick will be awarded 2 meters for the top of the D (this is not a direct free kick and therefore must touch another player apart from the kicker before a goal is scored). The goalkeeper is the only player that can leave and return to his/her D. The goalkeeper can be changed in the same way other players can change but the match official must be made aware of the change.

  • Games are 9 v 9 
  • Games will be of 2 x 10 minute halves.
  • A maximum squad size of 13 is permitted.
  • In all games, including the finals, 4 rolling subs will be allowed.
  • Substitute must enter the field of play from half way. 
  • There must be at least 2 girls on the field playing at any one time.  

EQUIPMENT

Each team should bring their own Size 4 match ball but also some suitable size 4 footballs in case of loss of their match ball during the games.
Shin pads must be worn by all players and suitable footwear – sport shoes or football boots.

COMPETITION PLAY 

The competition will be run using Pool play as outlined below:

Points will be awarded as follows: 3 for a win, 1 for a draw, 0 for a loss. 

Finals placings will be decided as follows: a. Points b. Goal differential (GF-GA) c. Goals For (If b is equal) d. If still tied head to head in the pool e. Toss of coin 

MISCONDUCT: In the event of the referee deeming a player should leave the field. Then the team will be asked to replace the player and that they will be unable to play in the remainder of that game. 

REFEREES

There will be umpires supplied but just in case, we ask for schools to have a back-up umpire. They may not necessarily be asked to umpire their own school. 


FIRST AID

Staff/Parents are required to have their own first aid kit for their teams.  This kit should also include ice and strapping tape.  If you have teams at more than one sporting code venue you will need to bring a first aid kit for each venue.


COSTS AND REGISTRATION

Schools will be required to pay the registration fee per school using the Sportsground website – online registration link.

Please complete this form to secure your place in the competition and pay for your teams. 

Once you have registered your team/s you will not have to register any names.  This will enable you to getyour teams ready with lots of time to find replacements for sick children or make any other changes required. 

Payment will be able to be made on line via a credit card or direct debit you will be given the opportunity to request an invoice.  In this case, your registration will not be confirmed until payment has been made.  Please remember that there are limited spaces for the sports being offered.


There will be NO LATE REGISTRATIONS available after registrations are closed.- There will be NO REFUNDS for children/teams withdrawing after this date.- Please note that there should be only one ‘Super Sixes’ Coordinator per school.  This person will be responsible for all entries for the whole ‘Super Sixes’ competition.  There should be only one registration per school at this first entry portal. 

In the event of there not being enough registrations for a sporting code to run an acceptable competition, you will be contacted and your money will be refunded or an alternative sporting code may be offered.
