Shooting is a sport of concentration, self-discipline and relaxation. Anyone can participate, young (over 8 years), elderly, male, female, as long as you can safely hold and operate a rifle and understand safety instructions. Can I Have a Go?
Tauranga Target Rifle Club is the ideal place to be introduced to shooting. We provide .22 rifles for left and right handed, which have negligible recoil and therefore are easy and comfortable to use. We provide a safe and controlled environment in our 20 yard indoor range, located in the heart of Tauranga City.
The focus of Tauranga Target Rifle Club is on the safety and enjoyment of the sport of shooting. We maintain a family friendly environment and members range from juniors (under 21) through to senior citizens. Our members have experience in a wide range of shooting and can offer training and advice to any who desire it.
So come down and try it out at our range, hosted in the Legion of Frontiers Hall, at the bottom of Elizabeth Street. Click here for dates and times we meet.
