Pre-season and Playing Dates:

The playing dates are determined by North Harbour Rugby for each grade but typically a season will look like:

• Weigh-in 12th, 14th & 19th Feb; squads confirmed in week 5 of Term 1
• First training session Week 6 or 7 of Term 1
• First competition game Week 1 or 2 of Term 2
• The competition is up to 18 weeks long depending on the number of teams in the grade

The rugby fee for 2024 will be $150 per player. 

1st XV players incur an additional fee to cover some of the costs of their playing and training gear.

The rugby fee must be paid at the time of registration. If you would like to discuss your son or daughter's fees for the year please contact Dean Watkins.

Players are provided with a rugby jersey on the Saturday of each game. This is then collected by the team manager and cleaned by a dry cleaning company.

Players require a pair of TGS rugby shorts and the TGS playting socks both of which can be purchased from the school uniform shop.

Mouthguards are compulsory and provided by the school as part of the rugby fee.

Rugby boots can be purchased from most major sports stores.
