The Waitara Boating Club is situated near the mouth of the Waitara River, 20km north of New Plymouth.
Sheltered waters on the river allow sailing in most conditions.
Club members are sailing Optimist, P Class, Starling, Laser, OK, 3.7, Hansa 303 and open dinghy classes.
Learn to sail is available in the club owned Optimist and Sunburst training dinghy’s - please conatct the Club for details.
