Congratulations to Michael Dawson who picked up a Bronze in the U18 800m Youth Olympic event in Sydney on Saturday. New PB of 1:54.45. He was meant to run 1500m on Friday but due to 47degree record temps, all Friday events combined with Saturdays so he withdrew from the 1500 to focus on the 800.
The New Zealand U18 track & field team did very well and picked up 24 medals in total (3 Gold, 9 Silver, 12 Bronze)
