School Netball

School Netball in the Eastern Suburbs is managed by the School Netball Delegate and Motu Kairangi Netball.

Details for registration will come out in the school newsletter, so keep an eye out if you are keen to sign up your child.

Teams also need a Star Helper (Y1-2), Coach (Y3-4) and Coach and Manager (Y5-6).


Junior Netball (Summer Season)

Netball for our Year 1-4 students is played on Saturdays in Terms 1 and 4.


Senior Netball (Winter Season)

Netball for our Year 5 and 6 students is played on Saturdays in Terms 2 and 3.

Players are to wear their Worser Bay School Sports top and appropriate sportswear / shoes.

Senior Netball Uniform

There is a uniform for winter netball which needs to be adhered to.  Players are required to wear the following:

  • Worser Bay School sports top
  • Black skort
  • Black polyprop long sleeve top (worn under the sports top - optional)
  • Plain black leggings (worn under the skort – optional)

Black skorts will be available for hire from the school office - your manager will advise when these can be collected. These are hired out for the term at a cost of $5 and will be added to your netball fees. 

Points to Note:

  • No jewellery is allowed (except a Medic Alert bracelet which must be taped). Please do not get your child’s ears pierced during the season as they will not be able to play.
  • Nails should be cut short and not sharp (they will be checked before the start of each game).
  • Long hair should be tied back.
