2023 Fees

If you are new to hunting and are considering becoming a member, we encourage you to attend as a visitor on a casual basis for up to 3 hunts (a capping fee applies).  It is good etiquette, and a requirement, to contact the Master of the Hunt prior to your chosen meet. Should you wish to continue to hunt after your initial 3 hunts, you will be required to apply for membership and pay the riding membership fee & associated NZHA Levies. Your capping fees paid at the initial 3 hunts will be credited to your membership sub (only applies to capping fees & membership which fall in the same season.)

(NZHA Annual Rider Levy: $23.00 (incl GST) )

2023 CAPPING FEES (FOR RIDING VISITORS) RIDERS WHO ARE NOT CURRENT FINANCIAL MEMBERS OF A NZHA AFFILIATED HUNT:

SENIOR & INTERMEDIATE (18 Years +): $50.00 & JUNIOR (Under 18 years): $20.00

PLUS: One-off $43.00 – at the first hunt of the Season applicable to ALL Cap levels.

(NZHA Annual Rider Levy: $23.00 (incl GST) )
Note: NZHA Levies apply per rider
Non-hunt members who are new to the sport are able to attend a maximum of 3 capped hunts, after which will be required to apply for membership and pay the applicable membership subscription (less the 3 caps paid).

SENIOR/INTERMEDIATE: $30.00

JUNIOR (Under 18 years): $10.00 (Note: No NZHA Founders Day Fund Levy – as this is collected by the member’s own Hunt). (All Capping Fees are inclusive of GST – Nil GST on NZHA Founders Day Fund Levy)
