Who are we?

NZ Fiji FA Inc. was established by former residents of Fiji who migrated to NZ, mostly after the May 87 military coup. Football became one of the main means of interaction amongst the Fijian community in Auckland and it continues to do so today as well.

Where are we based?

Our organisation is based at 101 Robertson Road, Mangere. We are a member of Mangere Centre Park Sports Association (Inc) that operates a football stadium facility in partnership with Auckland Council. This facility built with the support of the hard working members of both NZ Fiji FA and Mangere United FC. It is a purpose built football stadium with club rooms, kitchen, bar, offices, changing rooms, board room. The stadium boasts 600 covered seats.

Who are our members?

Currently we have over 10 teams registered to play in the Senior Men competitions. There are an increasing number of Junior teams playing in Grade 10, 12, 14 and also in our veterans competitions. There is a total playing number of over 900 players and over 300 administrators and officials across the teams. Our members also play in their ethnic tournaments like the NZ Muslim, Sanatan and Sangam tournaments.

We are proud to be founders of the Mangere United Soccer club which play in the greater Auckland Football competitions and with the merger of Mangere United and Manukau AFC in 2018 to form Manukau United which plays in NRF Premier League over winter season.

Who is our target audience?

Our tournaments are held for the enjoyment of the general public but dominated by the large Fijian community based in Auckland and recently this invitation has been extended to the major centres Hamilton, Wellington and Christchurch where the Fijian community is now growing.
