The Taranaki Country Basketball Group (TCB) was set up to foster Basketball in the three Associations of Opunake, Stratford and Hawera at a Regional and National level.

TCB Vision

“To foster and develop as many young athletes to play the highest quality basketball”

We will achieve this by -

Having coaching clinics for players, referees and coaches.
Having quality, competitive leagues for all age groups in Opunake, Stratford and Hawera.
Encourage social leagues for those who just want to play the game.
To make basketball the sport of choice.
To have age group teams and individuals, be competitive at a regional and national level.
