Winning performances on Day 2 of ISNC

As expected, day two of ISNC saw closer match ups against Fiji and Pacific Rim yesterday with Aotearoa taking both wins 52-32 and 47-26 respectively.  Assistant Coach Renee Matoe thought the girls were challenged in both matches.  "It was good to see that they had the ability to play some great netball under pressure. There is still plenty of work ons that have been talked through with the girls but they are really excited leading into Day 3 of the Tournament.  Recovery and nutrition has been key in managing the girls preparation for matches and ensuring they are fully prepared."  Today sees the team play Fiji FANZ, School Sport Australia and Auckland Samoa - all three of which are pushing top four.  It will be a tough day for the girls but coaching staff are confident the girls are ready.
