Auckland Rugby is saddened to hear of the passing of former representative Warren Moran.

Moran (Cap #863) played for Auckland on 14 occasions from 1958-60, scoring 30 points in the process and was selected from the Waitemata Club.

Playing for Auckland was a huge part of Warren's early adult years in which he enjoyed tremendous success with the side at the start of a 'Golden Era' for the blue and white hoops alongside teammates such as Waka Nathan, Bob Graham, Lin Russell and 'Snow' White.

A funeral service for Warren will be held at 2pm on Tuesday 20 August at St Patrick's Cathedral in the Auckland CBD.
