Erg Challenge - 1/2k
Come and have a go on the rowing machine! The Ashburton Rowing Club 1/2k Erg Challenge is open to everyone — no rowing experience needed. Choose your distance (1km or 2km), challenge your friends and whānau, and be in to win prizes.
Why do this erg challenge?
Rowing is the perfect exercise for all life stages — non-weight bearing, kind on joints, and great for upper and lower body and core strength. Plus, if you're going to use a rowing machine, you may as well learn the correct technique!
This challenge is designed to be FUN and introduce new people to the sport — and it's also a great opportunity for existing erg users to compete.
