Welcome to Badminton 2024

Hope you are all having a lovely holiday period.

First up to 2024, the committee would like to introduce you to our Badminton Eastland Kaiwhakarite Hapori - Community Coordinator Officer Geoff Wright who officially starts today.

We have to thank New Zealand Community Trust for the funding support to make this happen.  




Geoff has hit the ground running and is developing some new programmes from the year, starting this month.  Keep up to date on our Facebook feed for details.

The Badminton Centre is open to players & groups booking through the HELLO Club - badmintoneastland.helloclub.com

Badminton Centre Rules                                                             ● Players must wear non marking sports shoes when playing on the court                     ● Players must have the court lights on when playing as it is dangerous to play without adequate lighting                                                                                                                           ● Water only, is to be consumed on the stadium floor area                                                    ● Young children ‘MUST’ have adequate supervision at all times                                          ● Groups and players must provide their own first aid kit, although ‘ice’ is available from the fridge/freezer on the mezzanine floor                                                                                ● Please do not open the stadium ‘Exit’ Doors unless in the event of an emergency.      ● For security reasons please keep the entry door closed when inside the building.        ● No roller skates, roller blades, bicycles, scooters to be used in the hall at any time.      ● Players must mop courts AFTER USE. Please pick up dust, old shuttles and other rubbish and place them in rubbish bins provided.                                                                    ● No smoking or vaping on the premises, including the outside foyer area at all times GENERAL RULES                                                                                                                               ★ Members and non-members alike are expected to conduct themselves responsibly on the premises.                                                                                                                                ★ Players are to record any damage or incidents in the ‘Incident Book” in Foyer.          ★ If you have any concerns over members/players behaviour or observe damage please let us know immediately, by ringing Linda White 0272648660 or Gabe Perano 0272482729                                                                                                                                   ★ Those players, who are last to leave the premises must ensure that upstairs and bathroom lights are off and that the WINDOWS and the OUTSIDE DOORS are closed. THESE ARE YOUR FACILITIES – LOOK AFTER THEM! THE MANAGEMENT COMMITTEE RESERVE THE RIGHT TO WITHDRAW ALL PLAYING RIGHTS FROM MEMBERS/PLAYERS WHO CONTRAVENE THESE RULES
