Baseball NZ is seeking applications for two elected board members with experience and passion in sport governance and/or baseball, that can add value and professionalism to the Sport of Baseball in NZ. 

The Baseball NZ Board is continually seeking individuals who bring diversity of thought, perspective and strategic thinking to enhance board decision-making.  We are committed to attracting, recruiting, developing, promoting and retaining a diverse group of experienced individuals, who will help drive the NSO’s performance – from a governance and management perspective. Diversity of experience, skills, age, gender, ethnicity, and philosophies (among both our board members and our staff) is critical to building a leading-edge national sporting organisation and delivering for our participants and stakeholders.  

Baseball NZ are committed to maintaining gender equity and diversity within our organisation and board of directors, ensuring Baseball NZ continues to meet or exceed the minimum 40% female governance ratio in order to align with the Sport New Zealand National Policy for Gender Equity in Governance.

Ideal candidates should be able to demonstrate governance knowledge and leadership, apply a future focused attitude, understand confidentiality and the ability to work strategically and collaboratively.  There are two elected board positions currently vacant.
