Bay Olympic are keen to hear from all new players wanting to play football, at all levels.

A player is considered Senior if turning 18 in the season. 

WHAT TO DO AS A NEW PLAYER

At the same time, please provide some Information that will be helpful in placing you: 

  • Age

  • Position(s)

  • Previous playing history

  • Self-assessment of ability

                 - Do you want to be “trialled” by the Premier Men’s coach for an elite team

                 - Do you wish to play at a more social level?

REGISTRATION INFORMATION

Registration and payment can be made through our website here. Please note that online credit card payments incur a 2.5% surcharge.

REGISTRATION DAY:

Registration Evenings:  Every Thursday from 4th February to Thursday 4th March from 5.30pm to 7.30pm at the Clubrooms. Registrations will be processed on-line with an option for payment using Eftpos.

Online registration closes on Sunday 14th March.

TRANSFERS

Players who have previously played (i.e. in 2019) for another New Zealand based club no longer require a formal transfer unless they have been red flagged by their former club. If flagged, a new registration in MYCOMET will be blocked. To have this removed, contact your former club. Once removed, regsiter as per above. 

2021 SEASON

Season kickoff for NRFL Premier & Reserves is Saturday 27th March 2021. 

Community Senior teams start on Saturday 1st May 2021.

Except in exceptional circumstances, the season will close on Saturday 25th September. Knock Out Cups run till 9th October 2021.

Men’s Premier, Reserves:

Pre-season training for those wishing to play for the NRFL Men’s Premier Team or Reserve Team is on Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday at 7pm and Saturdays at 10am of each week commencing 26th January at Crum Park, Hilling Street, Green Bay.

NRF Season Calendar

FEES

All players need to register individually to be eligible to take to the field according to NRF Regulations.

Senior Mens/Womens - $300 for the season.

Senior Teams - $XXX TBC for the season - please contact the club for further information.

Tertiary Student & Aprentices - $250 (Student ID must be site by the club).

NRFL Youth – $200 plus a Term Resource Fee of $95 per Term for Terms 1, 2 and 3. 

Youth -  $200 (applies if player is still at High School and with school confirmation).

OTHER CHARGES

Player & Team Fines for Misconducts during a game are charged by NRF to the Club.  These charges are passed onto the player or manager.

Payment is expected within two weeks of receiving these fines. The club reserves the right to stand a player down until the fine has been paid in full.

TEAM GEAR

A team will need to purchase their own strip and have per person:

  • Plastic moulded boots
  • Nike Green Bay Olympic shirt - numbered
  • Nike Green Bay Olympic shorts
  • Nike Green Bay Olympic socks
  • Shin pads (all players must wear shin pads)
