Joining the Business Hawke’s Bay team as partnership and engagement manager, is Kane Wright. He will focus on developing and deepening new and existing relationships between Business Hawke’s Bay and its partners, stakeholders and businesses throughout the region.

Kane’s objective of adding real value to the local economy through Business Hawke’s Bay programmes and strategies will require innovation and collaboration
with the local business community.

Kane’s career has spanned sales, territory management and business development roles, that resulted in growing revenues, effective risk management and stronger customer relationships. More recently
he has been working in business advisory services for the Employers and Manufacturer’s Association (EMA) across the North Island.

Born and raised in Taradale, Kane left the Bay to pursue study and work opportunities in Wellington, Auckland,
Melbourne and Bay of Plenty. He returns with his fiancée and two boys have and could not be prouder to call Hawke’s Bay home once again.

He is motivated to make a positive contribution to the region and its people through his work with Business Hawke’s Bay. Outside of work you will find Kane on Dad duties running around after his two boys, down the Tutaekuri river attempting to scoop a few whitebait, or out fishing.
