The Deans are an essential part of our pastoral team here at Birkenhead College. They work closely with students, whānau and staff to ensure each student's time at school is happy and productive.
Every year level has a Dean who supports and guides their cohort through the year. The Deans' core focus is to ensure that the well-being and academic progress of your child is supported and managed. All students are encouraged to reach individual academic excellence. This is enhanced with the support of the Pastoral Care team, as well as the classroom teacher.
