Blue Skies is a Group Accommodation Centre, located in Kaiapoi, 15 minutes north of Christchurch and is set on 6Ha of park like grounds available for accommodation user for training, team building or fitness.Blue Skies can offer 3 areas of accommodation for school groups visiting Christchurch for sports tournaments or educational visits.
The Youth Lodge
*sleeps 99 people - in bunkrooms sleeping either 5 or 9 people, sharing 3 toilet and shower blocks
*plus 2 adult units with ensuite facilities, sleeping 4-5 people
*campers to provide own bedding, apart from pillow and pillowcase which is provided
*full (large) kitchen facilities where you can either self-cater or we can arrange professional catering
*dining room and hall area – seats up to 100 people (more if needed)
*white boards, PA system, data projector
The Scout Lodge
*sleeps 22 people – main area sleeps 14 in bunks
*plus two rooms which sleep 4 people in each
*campers to provide own bedding, apart from pillow and pillowcase which is provided
*small kitchen and shares the Youth Lodge toilet blocks
The Main Complex
*hall area (up-stairs)
*full kitchen facilities where you can either self-cater or we can arrange professional catering
*dining room - seats up to 80 people
*white boards, PA system
The Conference Centre
*can sleep 24 people - 18 in single rooms and 6 in twin rooms, sharing 2 toilet and shower blocks,
*option for linen to be provided
*rooms have a hand basin
*full kitchen facilities where you can either self-cater or we can arrange professional catering
*dining room– seats up to 30 people
*lounge area
*2 conference rooms that can be divided in half
*white boards
