It was warm and sunny yesterday evening - ideal conditions for the first pre-season match for 2017.  We had good numbers turn-up for a run and fielded a mixed team of Premier and Premier Development players.  The coaches took the opportunity to try varying combinations and the boys enjoyed their first hit out running in a number of tries.  Unfortunately Waikiwi struggled with numbers which made a difficult task even harder.

Result:  A win to Blues 57-5.
