On a rather bleak day Saturday 14th September, five ladies teams turned up to compete in the
May Civil Tray Trophy.

Cathy P, Jane G, Jan W
Lorraine B, Julie G, Sandra H.

It was decided to have five rounds with each team having a bye and
although the weather threatened five rounds were completed. All praise
to the way the ladies participated, fort hard and supported each
other, as it was a long day finishing after 4:30.
All the games were very close but in the end Cathy's team won out with
four wins and the runner up was Lorraine's team with three wins.
Thanks to Lorraine, Ross and Mike for preparing the carpet and thanks
to those ladies who turned up early to help set up.
This was a great turn up from our ladies who at the moment are the
backbone of the club.
