Welcome to the 2024 Netball season.  Read below for all the info!

Broadfield netball club is the family friendly club based at the Broadfield Domain, Robinsons Rd, Broadfield opposite the Primary school.

We also have strong links with Ladbrooks Primary school, with many of our young players originating from and training there also.

The committee has become a very small group of volunteers who have worked hard on behalf of the club for several years.

We are looking for new committee members for the 2024 season. This is a great way to get involved with your, or your child's sport & we would like to have people on the committee from all levels in the club to help with decision making. We usually hold one meeting per month.  Several of our current committee have expressed that they wish to step down at the start of this season, and if we don't have new club members put their hand up to help, the club is in jeopardy of disbanding.  Please let us know via our club email [email protected] if you are interested in becoming part of our committee, or talk to one of us, or please just come along to the AGM.

If not the committee, we are looking for other help to run the club this season.  We are in need of:
  • coaches and managers at all levels, from all our top senior teams right down to our new to netball year 1/2's and 3/4's;
  • umpires at all levels to match the teams that we enter into the competition;
  • scorers via the game day app for each team.
If you can help in any of these roles please get in touch via the club email or registration form to help us with our planning.

AGM

We are holding our AGM Monday 12th Feb, 7pm in the Famous Grouse Restaurant.

This is usually a short meeting, where we review the past season, elect our committee, and set subs for the current season (based on Selwyn Netball fees).

This is followed by the first committee meeting where we discuss other details such as trials, our valuable volunteers that enable teams to happen, season dates etc.

All members are welcome.  We would love some new committee members to join us as it would be great to get representation from more of our members (all levels of teams).  We usually hold one meeting per month.  If you want further information on joining the committee just ask, or come along to the AGM and see how lovely we are :)

You won't be placed on the committee just by coming to the meeting!
