Canoe Slalom NZ (CSNZ) are pleased to announce the appointment of Shaun Pearce to our coaching team as our National Performance Programme Coach.

Shaun has started working with our teams in Europe and will move to NZ late in October.

Shaun brings a broad range of experience from competing as an international athlete at the elite level, coaching and managing the delivery of a world class program in Canada and most recently coaching within the UK Sport World Class Programs for British Canoeing.

Shaun has gone through the legacy process post London 2012 Olympic Games and been instrumental in initiating development programs within local schools and laying the foundation for a club affiliated to the venue.

CSNZ are confident that Shaun’s experience and knowledge will be an asset for our National Performance Programme and the development of our sport at Vector Wero White Water Park.
