Staffing Structure Update - September 2021

Canterury Country Cricket Association would like to advise of the following staffing changes which will be in place from September the 6th 2021 onwards:

Liam Foulkes joins the Association as our full-time Coaching and Development Officer. During the 20/21 season Liam took on some part time work for CCCA. During his short tenure so far he has shown a motivated work ethic, good interpersonal skills and a willingness to learn. Liam is a current member of the Darfield club and is also a member of the CCCA Seior Rep squad. We wish Liam all the best with this opportunity.

Tim Gruijters moves into the role of Cricket Manager after spending five years in the Coaching and Development Officer role. Tim has developed his skills and attributes over his five year tenure to date with the Association to put him in a strong position to carry out the Cricket Manager role with the upmost proffesionalism. Along with the Cricket Manager role, Tim will also be player-coach for the Senior team in the 2021/22 season and he will oversee the implementation of the Yeah! Girls program throughout Canterbury. We wish Tim all the best with these new opportunities.

Toby Doyle after 7 and a half years with Canterbury Country Cricket will move on to take up the role of Regional Coach Development Manager - South Island with New Zealand Cricket. Canterbury Country Executive Director, Peter Devlin, comments "Toby started with Country Cricket seven and a half years ago in February 2014 as a Coaching and Development Officer. In that role he developed close relationships with all the schools and clubs throughout rural Canterbury and those relationships have remained intact to this day. In his role as Cricket Manager he has continued to manage the school development programmes, created a network of coaches throughout Canterbury Country that is the envy of all other cricket associations in New Zealand, managed club competitions through the CricHQ network, coordinated our junior pathway programmes and created structures and plans that will  carry the association into the future. Toby has overseen a period of unprecedented growth in our junior playing numbers." We wish Toby all the best with his new opportunity with New Zealand Cricket.
