Capital Football is extremely proud to introduce the 2020/2021 Female Football Development Programme;

the Female Coach Development Programme 

The Female Coach Development Programme is designed to develop and educate female coaches from the Capital Region, across all levels of football, from grassroots beginners to top flight competitions. Lead by Capital Football Assistant Federation Development Manager, and ISPS Handa Women's Premiership Head Coach, Maia Vink, the programme is designed to create a welcoming and positive environment, promoting growth and development for all participants.

The programmes cover a range of areas:

  • New Zealand Football Accredited Courses
  • Mentoring Opportunities
  • Formal and informal learning groups
  • Representative pathway opportunities
  • Free and welcoming environment


We will be launching both Capital Football Female Football Development Programmes at the Capital Football vs WAIBOP, ISPS Handa Women's Premiership, Match Week 4 home game, here at Memorial Park, Petone on Saturday the 21st of November. 


We would like to invite any interested participants to join our coach and referee team for an informal introductory session MC'd by Hannah Wignall. The information session will be held upstairs in the Petone Club rooms after the conclussion of the game.

Registrations for the programme will close on the 10th of December. At which point we will get in touch directly with all applicants.
