ADVENTURE RACING

Adventure Racing is an event-based sport, which means there are no weekly competitions (although there are weekly trainings), but rather a variety of events we target and students participate in throughout the year. Adventure Racing is a high-commitment sport, requiring good fitness and great teamwork skills.  

SISS Adventure Racing Championships
Our first event in Kaikoura is made up of teams of 4 students, and the categories are as follows - Boys (mixed age groups are fine), Girls (mixed age groups are fine), Mixed teams (Boys/Girls/any ages). 


The race could include, but is not limited to the following activities: 

- Running

- Rogaine / Orienteering

- Kayaking

- Mountain Biking

- Rockclimbing / Abseiling

Please note that to participate in any Adventure Racing Events you need to register for Adventure Racing sport as well as the event itself.
