CC Promo/ Ray White Netball Club

CLUB HISTORY
The CC Club formed in the 1950s and some of the original members were June Pratt, Mary Merced and Rochelle Meek. They were joined in 1967 by Anne Atkin and in 1969 by Barbara Grant.

The original name was 'Community Centre' but in recent years is commonly referred to as 'CC Club'.

Over the years the club has included multiple teams including high school teams with 4 teams playing for the club at it's peak. It currently has two Premier Grade teams playing in the local Westport Competition.

In past years with sponsorship available through Pub Charity the team took their names. The CC Black and White was present for many years when Glenys and Glen Elley were involved. This then changed to CC Cri for several years due to continued support from the Elleys.

More recently the club has been supported by Promo Safety and Gary Anderson and Ray White and so are currently known as CC Promo/ Ray White.

The club colours are currently maroon and black which it changed to about 30 years ago. The original uniforms consisted of grey gym frocks, white shirts, maroon tie and black stockings which the senior players sewed for the teams.
