Years 7/8 Cricket 2024

On Wednesday the 22nd of February, Craighead had 16 students compete at the Year 7 and 8 Cricket Festival at Ashbury Park. It was amazing to see so many keen students want to participate in cricket.

The team played two games, one against Pleasant Point and the other against Waihi.

It was great to see the development of the students over the day as they learned about the different skills involved in cricket including bowling, batting and fielding, as well as building friendships with those around them.

Congratulations to those involved and a big thank you to the student coaches: Camryn Linton, Sophie Kelly and Ruby Laming!
