Aoraki Tennis

On Thursday the 23rd of February, Craighead had 10 students compete at the Aoraki Tennis Championships at the Timaru Tennis Centre.

Over 40 teams entered this competition across the championship and festival grades and it was great to have 5 teams from Craighead entered into the championship grade.

Each team performed exceptionally well and all produced some amazing results.

Congratulations to the Year 9 pairing of Olivia Marsden and Neve Ball who finished top of their pool and made it to the final, eventually coming short against an older and stronger Ashburton College team.

We are looking forward to seeing the development of all of our tennis players throughout this year and in the years to come!
