Jason Swete is the President for Waitara Football Club.
Jase is involved in a wide variety of tasks, often working quietly behind the scenes to ensure things run smoothly. His contributions range from sorting and maintaining club gear, cleaning and organising equipment spaces, and obtaining quotes and placing orders, to assisting with field marking and refereeing junior games when required. His willingness to step in wherever needed has made him an invaluable part of the club’s volunteer base.
What sets Jase apart is his reliability and versatility. He consistently takes on responsibilities across different areas of the club, often without being asked, and always with a focus on getting things done efficiently. From routine maintenance to more spontaneous tasks that arise during the season, he approaches everything with a practical and helpful attitude.
Volunteers like Jase are essential to the smooth running of community sports clubs. While much of the work may happen out of the spotlight, the impact is significant. His consistent support helps create a well-organised, welcoming environment for players, coaches, and families alike.
The club recognises and appreciates the time and effort Jase puts in week after week. His contribution is valued by the entire Waitara Soccer Club community.
